JOB DESCRIPTION: Administrative Assistant
Part Time (3 days/24 hours per week) Hourly
Job Summary:
Alexander & Bebout Inc. has been building Northwest Ohio for over 60 years. Our hometown, locally owned business is looking for an organized and energetic person to join our team as a part-time administrative assistant. If you have administrative experience and a good attitude, please apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Finance and Operations departments with administrative duties, data entry and paperwork.
- Assist HR Department with employee paperwork, reports, announcements, job ads, renewals, and other HR related tasks.
- Make meeting, travel, lunch, picnic, carry in and event arrangements.
- Answer and direct phone calls and manage mail.
- Maintain basic office equipment, supplies, kitchenette, and showroom space.
- Greet and assist walk in customers and visitors.
- Onboard new employees
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be very organized to successfully work with multiple departments.
- Willing, able, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Open, Honest and Vulnerable
- Be punctual and take initiative.
- Strong planning and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Positive, energetic and extroverted
Position Qualifications:
- High School Education.
- Some college preferred.
- Experience with HR tasks is a plus.
- Proven experience in equivalent area to show skill capacity.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Hourly wage will range from $15-$18 per hour depending on experience.
