JOB DESCRIPTION:       Administrative Assistant

                                      Part Time (3 days/24 hours per week) Hourly

Job Summary:

Alexander & Bebout Inc. has been building Northwest Ohio for over 60 years. Our hometown, locally owned business is looking for an organized and energetic person to join our team as a part-time administrative assistant. If you have administrative experience and a good attitude, please apply!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Finance and Operations departments with administrative duties, data entry and paperwork.
  • Assist HR Department with employee paperwork, reports, announcements, job ads, renewals, and other HR related tasks.
  • Make meeting, travel, lunch, picnic, carry in and event arrangements.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and manage mail.
  • Maintain basic office equipment, supplies, kitchenette, and showroom space.
  • Greet and assist walk in customers and visitors.
  • Onboard new employees

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be very organized to successfully work with multiple departments.
  • Willing, able, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open, Honest and Vulnerable
  • Be punctual and take initiative.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Positive, energetic and extroverted

Position Qualifications:

  • High School Education.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Experience with HR tasks is a plus.
  • Proven experience in equivalent area to show skill capacity.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Hourly wage will range from $15-$18 per hour depending on experience.
