Preconstruction Manager

Key Roles:

1. Build and maintains relationships with prospective and existing clients

  • Serve as the primary client contact, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

2. Manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent deal flow

  • Identify and qualify leads, ensuring alignment with company goals and capabilities.
  • Track and manage opportunities, keeping the pipeline active and accurate.

3. Develop and presents proposals to clients, negotiating terms and closing deals

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Estimators, Designers) to create compelling, accurate proposals.
  • Lead contract negotiations, balancing client satisfaction and company profitability.

4. Forecast sales and tracks progress toward sales targets

  • Develop sales forecasts based on pipeline analysis and market trends.
  • Monitor progress against targets, adjusting strategies to meet or exceed goals.

5. Ensure smooth project onboarding

  • Oversee the transition of sold projects to preconstruction and operations teams.
  • Communicate project scope, client expectations, and any negotiated terms to ensure alignment.

6. Lead Preconstruction Services

  • Manage all preconstruction activities, including sales, design, budgeting, and bidding.
  • Review project scope to determine type of work, materials, and project duration.
  • Reconcile estimates with consultants and design team members.

7. Contribute to Value Engineering and Alternatives in Proposals

  • Present creative and cost-effective solutions during the preconstruction phase.
  • Ensure conceptual estimates align with client objectives and project feasibility.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or preconstruction services within the construction industry.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Expertise in value engineering, project budgeting, and proposal development.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
